34in x 78in Brandcusi Straight 3D Banner Stand (Graphic Only)Brandstand
was challenged by the market place to design a display stand to replace
the monotonous rollup; something more than a banner on a stick. We
needed to come up with a product that is greener, costeffective, indoor,
stable, can be turned into a light box, display products and, last but
not least, light weight and easy to deploy. That was a tall order.
Hoping to create a new type of banner stand that was Greener and more cost-effective than traditional offerings currently on the market, Brandstand Inc. recently developed the Brandcusi. Requiring no tools for setup, the Double-Sided, 7-foot-tall fabric-covered stand is the perfect messaging medium for retail displays, exhibits, events, and more. In terms of its earth-friendly components, the 7-foot-wide base of the unit is made of eco-friendly MDF wheat board, the fabric comprises recycled PET bottles, and the ink used in the process is water based. Plus, the frame is made out of cold-drawn aluminum, which increases the Brandcusi's strength, reduces its weight, and gives it better flexibility tolerance for fitting. By adding optional Plexi shelves, it becomes a merchandising unit, and by including a light in the base and using the company's Photo Fabric material, it becomes a light box for myriad retail-related uses that no doubt generates added visibility. Judges hailed this product for its design quality and consistency across all elements, from the shelving and framing to the fabric carrying case.
Brandcusi Straight Fabric Double-Sided Banner Stand are perfect for displaying at
any event. They are lightweight and roll up into a small carrying case.

Dye-sublimation printing process is primarily used to print on polyester or other synthetic fabrics. It is used for many applications such as trade show banners or table covers, t-shirts, id cards, bike uniforms, competitive swimwear, soccer jerseys and flags. The original printers were an electrostatic technology using toners but now are generally large format inkjet printers using specially formulated inks. The dye sublimation inks are a pigment suspended in a liquid solvent, like water. The images are initially printed on coated transfer paper as a reverse image of the final design, which is then transferred onto polyester fabric in a heat press operating at a temperature around 180 to 210 C (375 F). Under high temperature and pressure, the dye turns into a gas and permeates the fabric and then solidifies into its fibers. The fabric is permanently dyed so it can be washed without damaging the quality of the image.
Dye-sublimation can also be used as an indirect printing process. Standard black and white laser printers are capable of printing on plain paper using a special "transfer toner" containing sublimation dyes which can then be permanently heat transferred to T-shirts, hats, mugs, metals, puzzles and other surfaces.
Dye-sublimation has many commercial uses. It allows consumers to feature their favourite photos on purses and totes without the worry of fading, cracking or peeling.
